Partial to a wide lens, long walks, spaghetti westerns, & Armenian string cheese, Luke’s practise – established in commercial workflows developed while London-based for 12 years – is grounded in his ability to relate to, conjure & direct a dramatic performance from anyone. Be it inexperienced everyday folks to exec VIP’s & talented actors. 

A specialist in conceptual photography, Luke’s distinct grasp of materials, light & composition produces a compelling immersive image that evokes a sense of heightened visual sophistication, particularly drawing on granular details of human & environmental character to invite viewers to appreciate the world around in light anew.

Demonstrating a meticulous award-winning approach to craft & problem solving, Luke is happiest pursuing the precious conceptual vapours of narrative while experimenting with a diverse range of photographic technique & personnel. Indeed, his experience in the pressurised fast-paced workflows of advertising production and his easy collaborative nature enable him to grasp & calmly articulate creative concepts with a cool haste.
